Saturday Childbirth Classes in Atlanta
Perfect for busy people! In just one day (about 7 hours), you'll learn basic anatomy and biology of birth, comfort measures for pain relief, labor strategies and more. Based on Lamaze Healthy Birth Practices, this class is taught in hospitals around the world; however this specific class is taught by a doula who will teach you the true options for childbirth and not just what the hospital wants you to know.
Meet Alice Turner, Your Lamaze Instructor and My Back-up Doula
Alice Turner is a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator and DONA Certified Labor Doula and has attended over 125 births to date. I rely on Alice to provide labor support to my clients in my absence (just in case!) and am proud to call her my friend and back-up doula. I am thrilled to offer my clients an opportunity to learn from an experienced leader at an exclusive price and also allow them to meet my back-up doula!
You and your birth partner can learn the internationally-recognized Lamaze childbirth education program in just 7 hours! Your registration includes a "birth ball" with a cover for easy transport ($65 value).
This is a one-day class. Seats are limited to only 8 and fill quickly. Dinner and refreshments are provided. Registration fee is per couple.
